The idea for this blog came to me when I was searching for a better way to communicate about the various missional activities I'm involved with. During my November 2009 and March 2010 mission trips to Kenya, it became obvious that there had to be a less cumbersome solution for getting the word out to a large number of people. This blog is the result.

From Amsterdam to the US
Getting through long lines at security in Amsterdam as Melissa and I were transferring to our next respective flights took what seemed like forever. My flight to Minneapolis was already boarding when I got to the gate. Melissa originally was booked to go to Detroit and it got changed to Atlanta. The Atlanta flight got canceled and the last I knew she was getting back to Austin by way of Salt Lake City. The first big travel hiccup for the team. I guess if lost luggage or scheduling difficulties have to happen, it's better at the end of a mission. I'm writing this about 5 hours from Minneapolis. Delta, KLM and Air France have invested in low earth satellite Internet, which is pretty good and free for even their most basic frequent flier members like me. Cool! More to follow as the return trip story unfolds and it becomes easier to post photos. Blessings everybody!
